I once read a book that had the title “Creativity for life”. It was more a book about how you look at yourself, your ego and higher self, problems and life philosophy in general, rather than creativity. In the end it was actually not as good as I hoped for but at least I found and adopted one good concept from it, “to take an indian break”. According to the author the idea comes from a native American nomad tribe. Every hour of walking they would sit down and take a break. Not to rest but to let the soul catch up. No matter if you are spiritual person or not I believe the underlying idea is something that we have lost in the “rich” world. It is easy to just keep running forward. But the things you leave behind will eventually catch up. It is just a mere question of when.
